Grandmaster Buddy Hudson

Grandmaster Buddy Hudson is a 9th degree black belt in American Karate and American Taekwondo, an International Instructor and champion, and an inductee to the International Martial Arts Hall of Fame. He founded the Professional Black Belt Association in 1982 with a clear vision: build a network of academies delivering nationally certified, well-rounded martial arts instruction to students of all ages without compromising on standards.

Grandmaster Hudson has spent over four decades developing the curriculum, belt system, and culture that define every PBBA academy. His influence extends across generations of students, instructors, and champions who have trained under his guidance. Under his leadership, the Prosper academy has become one of the most respected martial arts schools in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
